The Mac Quest

I'm relatively new the Mac world and this weekend I got to test them out.
I must say that they are sweet and pretty...

... pretty difficult to master.

No, no, no, I'm not chatting about Steve Jobs and his Apple Mac. No, definitely not.

I'm talking about on about French Macarons...

No, not coconut macaroons. Only one "o".
It actually sounds similar to macaroni, without the "i".

So what is a French Macaron?  one word: AWESOME.

Geez... You are STACKED!

Today's mission: To make a Stacked Cake.

By stacked, I don't mean "very muscular". Even though this cake is well built (if I do say so myself), it is far from being being muscular.

Sushi dinner? Presents? ... and Cake!?

I was asked to make two cakes this week.

A Thank-You cake.

A Birthday cake.

Raisin Bread

Today, my mom told me that she wanted to buy some bread. I told her that I would save her the trip and I would make some for her. I whipped out a recipe book and chose the Raisin Bread recipe.

These muffins just BLUE my mind away.

I've been dying to find ways to use up my buttermilk because I find it too weird to just drink. So I went on a hunt for the right recipe and I think I found one.

The French Bread

Every Christmas dinner, my dad makes bread and it is good.
Sometimes he even makes it twice a year.

I'm just kidding- he makes it like once a month.

Bread making is a long process.
I just took pictures of the end of this process.
