I really waffled over the title of this blogpost...

Do you know what this is?

Here's hint: you can find it in a kitchen.
Don't worry, I won't waffle about this for hours.

Maybe this will help...

or maybe I will just tell you...

It's a waffle maker!

I love waffles and no, they are not just pancakes with ridges... They are nothing like pancakes.

This recipe uses almost the same ingredients as the Blueberry Buttermilk Muffins.
Minus the orange zest (thank goodness!) and blueberries.

OOO waffle batter.

Don't forget to use a tasty maple syrup.

Go ahead and have two.

Or four...

Or MANY MANY MORE!!!!!!

Recipe for Buttermilk Waffles Printer Friendly Version
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
2/3 cups canola or grapeseed oil
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups buttermilk
*try adding 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon to the batter (I couldn't find my nutmeg so I didn't try.)

Set up your waffle iron on a level, clean surface and turn on to preheat.
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and brown sugar.  Whisk to blend.  In a  medium bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, buttermilk and vanilla extract.  Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and fold.Try not to over mix the batter or the waffles will become tough.  It’s ok if a few lumps remain in the batter.

Cook according to your waffle machine instructions.
Serve with maple syrup and strawberries. Recipe taken from Here!

Yummy!!! and Yes, I made like a million.
